Healing Dialogue

A gentle, kind, and supportive, yet powerful approach to inner dialogue, self- inquiry and embodied insight.

The Healing Dialogue is a nurturing conversation that supports you in deepening your connection with yourself. It’s an invitation to come home to yourself and your innate wholeness.

It’s a compassionate space where you’re invited to meet whatever is present within you—whether that’s challenging symptoms, physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, or beliefs. But it’s also a space for lightness, where you are invited to connect with joy and a sense of wellbeing.

Also known as co-meditation, the Healing Dialogue is a beautiful form of self-exploration. It invites you to slow down and kindly tune into your inner world, just as it is. During our time together, you are gently encouraged to express what is arising in the present moment. This can be spontaneous or focused on a particular theme you’d like to explore.

Whatever emerges, the invitation is always to connect with how it shows up in your body. This practice is more about feeling and experiencing than it is about thinking or analysing.

By offering thoughtful questions and holding a safe, supportive space I encourage you to look with curiosity, kindness, and compassion towards yourself. There is no need to fix or change anything. You are simply invited to explore and be with what is.

One of the beautiful gifts of this practice is that you gradually learn to relate to thoughts, emotions, and sensations as meaningful messengers. Over time, they become less overwhelming. For example, when you truly allow an emotion to be felt and expressed, it often softens and begins to move, rather than becoming stuck. Through this, you come to understand and feel: you have emotions, but you are not your emotions.

People are drawn to the Healing Dialogue for many reasons. Whether you’re looking to break old patterns, ease stress or anxiety, or reconnect with yourself. Some people are navigating physical or emotional challenges, while others are seeking more balance, clarity, or inner peace. For some, it’s part of their healing journey through trauma; for others, it’s a gentle gateway into mindfulness. And it can certainly also be about reconnecting with joy, creativity, and the deeper essence of who you are.

Whatever brings you here, you are wholeheartedly welcome—just as you are, and exactly where you are in your journey.

The Healing Dialogue has its roots in co-meditation (iRest Yoga Nidra) and has evolved into a unique and powerful approach. What I bring into this work is an integration of everything that has shaped me: my background in social work, my work with trauma, my deep love for psychology, and my experience with somatics and other body-centered practices.

‘Carrie’s authentic presence is supported by depth, humour, curiosity and calm. She recruits a listening ear, an open heart and a wise enquiring mind in her sessions. Her Healing Dialogues are quite simply a balm for the soul.’

‘As a searching person, I have had years of experience with various forms of therapy, coaching, self-reflection, yoga,…… But what I experience with Carrie during sessions of co-meditations is of a completely different order for me. To begin with, I have only now realised what meditation is, how to do it and what extraordinary powers it has. It is incredible how Carrie manages to bring me to my deepest pains in a calm and safe way while still keeping me connected to my power place, the place where I feel fully connected to myself, feeling powerful and free. By experiencing these 2 emotions so side by side, and switching from one to the other, over and over again, I am much more successful in applying this in my daily life as well. I can now see much better when I am reacting from my hurt inner child and when I am not. By being able to look at myself more without being overwhelmed by all kinds of emotions or guided by unconscious patterns, I can now make much healthier decisions, put my life on a different track.

She also gives meditations to do daily at home, she always knows how to find what I really need at what time. As a result, I now manage to really meditate daily myself, making my process much more thorough.

And what I find most special is that such a process can also work online. Since I live in Belgium, I cannot be on site with Carrie and we use zoom. But this doesn’t feel like a hindrance to me at all. Maybe even as an added value that I can experience this from my safe place at home.

To anyone who feels a bit stuck in their life, I recommend Carrie. She brings you to answers that come from deep within yourself, answers that are therefore right for you at this moment.‘
